Welcome to NC RailRun 2008!
Come join us for a fun-filled weekend of operating sessions on
a variety of excellent operating layouts in North Carolina's Piedmont
region!
The 3rd NC RailRun will be held on Labor Day weekend from Friday, August
29 through Sunday, August 31, 2008.
You will "Op 'till you drop" on layouts in 4 different
time slots during the 3-day NC RailRun. For those of you who want even more
operations, we're featuring the return of our very popular special "early bird" session this year.
This web site provides more information about the layouts, schedule, and
registration.
There are a limited number of slots available, so please register early. The
weekend has sold out early in each of the previous years, and we anticipate having a waiting list for
this year's NC RailRun.
If you enjoy model railroad operations, or want a chance to learn more
about the fun of operating, then you'll want to register for this weekend!
[Note: Beginning with the 2008 event, NC RailRun will be held every other year
in even-numbered years. After the 2008 version, the next NC RailRun will be
held in 2010.]

NC RailRun 2008 Important Dates
- April 10 - Registration opens
- August 9 - Registration deadline
(NOTE: registration is first-come, first-served and may be
sold out early. Get your registrations in early to be assured of a slot!)
- August 20 (approximate) - Operating session packets mailed to
confirmed registrants
- August 29 - August 31: Op 'till you drop!
